Obituary for Jimmy Alexander
Mr. Jimmy "Jim" Don Alexander, age 75, of Scroggins, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in Mt. Pleasant. Jim was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 20, 1941 to the late U.D. Alexander and Marie Kenner Alexander. He worked and retired after thirty years in the building supplies industry. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Denison, but attended the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro. One of Jim's greatest passions was coaching his children's youth sports teams. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patsy Alexander, Peggy Nelson; brother, William "Billy" Alexander, and his twin-brother, Jackie Alexander. He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Wunsch) Alexander of Scroggins; sons, David Alexander and wife Vici of Acworth, GA., Jack Alexander and wife Alicia of Plano; daughter, Jill Alexander of Kennesaw, GA.; sister, Retha Bjork of Pearl, MS.; five grandchildren, Taylor Weinstein and husband Eric, Ashley Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Liliana Alexander, and Gabriella Alexander. The family has scheduled private memorial services.
