Obituary for Mollie Stanton (Middleton)

Mollie Stanton (Middleton)
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be
born and a time to die”. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Mollie Minelle Middleton Stanton, age 78 of Winnsboro, departed peacefully from this earth for
her heavenly home on September 26, 2017 in Sulphur Springs. Mollie was born on April 29,
1939 in Beaumont, Texas to Jewel Ellington and Mary Louise Graham Middleton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, J.E. Middleton, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, David. She leaves behind one sister, Linda
Smith (David) of Azle. She leaves behind three daughters, Sherry Dupre Bridges (RT) of
Quitman, Charlotte Stanton of Winnsboro, and Stefanie Voelker (Kurt) of Plano; and one son,
Scott Stanton (Connie) of Garland. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren: Megan
Dupre of Dallas, Daniel Stanton of Galveston, Gabriel, Olivia and Luke Voelker of Plano. Mollie
also has one niece Amanda Patton and two nephews, Tim (Tisha) and Michael Meador. Her

franchisee, operating the DQ in Quitman for 12 years. Mollie and David were world travelers
cruising to over 110 countries and made many friends wherever they went.

member of the choir and Women's Club. She also was active in the North East Texas Emmaus
Community and REC (Residents Encounter Christ) prison ministry.
The family would like to thank all who prayed, loved, and cared for Mollie during her long illness.
