Barbara Christine Brian Graveside services for Barbara Christine Brian, 82, of Mineola will be held at 10:00 Tuesday, August 18, at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, Texas, under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home., with Reverend Sammy Dickerson officiating. Mrs. Brian passed away August 13, after a lengthy illness. She was born November 12, 1937, in Marshall Texas as one of the 12 children of Chester P. Dickerson and Mamie Chambers Dickerson. She was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church in Mineola. She worked at the Dairy Queen and Johnny’s Seafood and Steak House in Mineola. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Brian, grandson, Joel Wayne Tucker, her parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Loretta and James Huff of Mineola, Tina Moser and Shane Stevenson of The Colony, and Don Brian and wife Christine of Quitman. She is also survived by her sisters Geneva Wilson, Sharon Rapp, Raelyn Heath and Rhonda Layton, and brothers Richard Dickerson and Sammy Dickerson, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas.
