John Bryant Woodall

John Woodall, 72, of Mineola, TX passed away on October 10, 2021, in Tyler, TX. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Fort Knox, KY to Major John Bennett and Laura Woodall.

John began his grocery career in Lakeland, Florida in 1965 with Pantry Pride/Food Fair Stores. He worked his way up from sacker to Store Manager. He left Pantry Pride and began his career with Kroger in Houston in 1981. He was promoted to the Dallas area in 2000 where he became the District 7 Manager. He was with Kroger for 28 years. He enjoyed golfing and bass fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Brandy Ann Woodall Boecker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ann Woodall; son, John Bruce Woodall of Houston, TX; brother, Chuck Woodall of Louisville, KY; sister, Linda Ann Woodall Moore of Lakeland, FL and a niece, Jenni.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
