Lex Kenneth Yarber, a cherished member of the Mineola, Texas community passed away May 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on January 27, 1935, in Kosse, Texas. Lex lived a life of dedication, service, and love.
Lex spent his early years in Kosse, where he attended Kosse High School, After graduation, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean war. Upon returning he married and pursued higher education at Oklahoma Southwestern Christian College, earning a 2 year associate degree. His career spanned 34 years with Nabisco Food Sales, where he was known for his commitment and integrity.
Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Lex was a man who cherished his family and friends deeply. He had a lifelong passion for horses, a testament to his love for the simple keys and beauty of life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeanne Yarber (Thompson), his parents William Howard Yarber and Arlene Griffith Yarber, his brother Rex Yarber and sister Myrna Teafatiller. He is survived by his son Kenneth Yarber; sister Patricia Gremminger; brother Ronnie Yarber, Sr. and wife Carol; brother J I Yarber; brother Gregory Yarber; and many nieces and nephews.
