Richard Moses

Richard Moses, age 79 of Winnsboro, Texas passed away on Friday, January 1st, 2021 in his home with his family by his side. He was born on August 24th, 1941 in Selma, Alabama to the late Herman and Janett (Birchfield Moses, Sr. Richard was an electrician by trade. Mr. Moses loved being around family and those grandchildren he adored. Richard also enjoyed working on his land and getting in front of the television to watch football. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Billy Wayne Moses and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Barbara Cockrum Moses; son Donald Roy Moses; daughter Evelyn Jane Elliott; brother Ricky Moses and wife Jan; sister Jean Vickers, Donna Fay Wilcher and step-sister Debra Palmer; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 2:00 pm.
