A. J. Lewis, age 85, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Sunday, April 5, 1925 in McKinney, Texas to the late General and Tommie Lewis. He attended Holly Brook Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lewis of Hawkins, Texas; a son Jeffery Jay Lewis also of Hawkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Lewis will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held at Holly Brook Baptist Church on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Guy McGraw officiating.
