Adalie May Childress

Adalie May Childress, 77, of Mineola, TX passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 in Dallas, TX. She was born on Saturday, June 19, 1937 in Roswell, NM to the late John and Cecil Nancy Starks.

Adalie was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frances Childress; brother, Clifford Starks.

She is survived by her sister; Wilma Fae Rogers of Mineola, TX; two nieces, Janet Leevey and Carolyn Monk; four nephews, Tony Starks, Larry Rogers, Johnny Rogers and Billy Rogers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX. Funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, TX on Friday, May 15, 2015 officiated by Rev. Don Masters. Interment will follow at Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline, TX.
