Alaine Lorene Castloo

Alaine Lorene Castloo of Mineola Texas passed away on Sunday November 14, 2021, at 10:38 a.m. She was a resident of Autumn Wind Assisted Living and a lifelong resident of Mineola, Texas. Alaine was born on August 24th, 1931, to Wilson and Zelma Aaron and was the oldest of two children.

She attended Mineola High School and graduated in 1948 as Salutatorian of her class. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. On January 25, 1950, Alaine Aaron and Tommy Castloo eloped with the help of Tommy’s grandmother Willie Downing. It’s amazing how God allows us opportunity to see His Love and His light. Alaine and Tommy had three children.

Daughter, Deena was born August 24, 1951, sons, Kim was born November 17, 1952, and Tommy was born November 15, 1957. Alaine and Tommy were lifelong members of First United Methodist Church in Mineola and owned a family-established retail furniture and appliance business. After retiring Tommy and Alaine enjoyed traveling and loving their family and friends. Survivors include daughter, Deena Taylor of Mineola, Texas, son, Kim Castloo of Tyler, Texas, son, Tommy Castloo and wife, Janna of Mineola, Texas; grandchildren, Cass Miller, Melissa Rice and husband Alan, Allison Wheeler, Jay Castloo, Chase Castloo, great grandchildren, Holden, Sophia, Jude (the dude), Kyleigh, Lucas, Tenley, Matt, Kellen and Brax.
