Obituary

Alan Brent Chamberlain, age 76, of Hawkins, Texas went to Gloryland on Monday June 1, 2026 at his home. Alan was born on December 8, 1949 in Latch, Texas to Mr. Charles Wesley Chamberlain and Elizabeth Bell (Walker) Chamberlain.Alan married the Love of his life, Shirley Kay (McNatt) Chamberlain of Dallas, Texas, on March 30,1973.

Alan was a Godly man who loved God with all his heart, soul, and mind. He always put God first in everything, even his work and family. Alan and Shirley were pastors at Charity Full Gospel Church for seven years, Alan was also the church treasurer at Hawkins First Assembly in Hawkin, Tx along with many other duties and ministries. Alan and Shirley worked as a team at the church and enjoyed waking for the Lord. Alan suffered from many illness and was brave and fought to the end.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Elizabeth Chamberlain, Grandparents Cleveland Chamberlain and Corrie (Belle) Chamberlain and Brother Charles Wesley chamberlain. Alan is survived by his Wife, Shirley; of 53 years. Daughter Jessica, son James (Minnie). Brothers; Cleveland and Stanley (Debbie). Sisters; Charlene and Linda. Nephew; James Scott (Alex) and Nieces; Stacey, Jada, Rachel, Jasmine and Jamie. Three Great Nephews and Three Great Nieces. Six Grandchildren; Austin (Lacy), Makayla Nicole (Hogan), Charles (Sue), Haley (Cole) and Bentley. Seven Great-Grandchildren; Brookelynn, Emory, Khyzar, Lexis, Hudson, Kayden and Lydia.

Alan fought the fight and won the race victoriously. To the end he was still witnessing to his children and grandchildren making promises to each of them. He was a trooper and he will be missed.
