Alan Harold Phillips

Alan Harold Phillips, 71, of Matagorda, TX and formerly of Sherman, TX went to be with his Lord on Saturday October 28, 2017 after a long illness. He was born in Grayson County on Thursday October 24, 1946 to the late Billy J. Phillips and Doris Marie Allen Phillips.After graduating high school and attending college Alan joined the U. S. Army and served with honor in Korea. During his lifetime he relocated to Matagorda, TX near the Texas coast where he lived for almost 40 years.

He was non-denominational by faith and loved his Heavenly Father dearly.. Alan is survived by a host of family and a few dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Billy Don Phillips. A memorial in honor of Alan's life may be held at a later date.
