Albert Rayford Minter

Mr. Albert Rayford Minter passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the age of 77. He was born on August 31, 1931 to the late Gussie L. Minter and Ester Sachtleben Minter. Mr. Minter was retired from the U.S. Air Force and married the former Claire Johnson on December 8, 1974. He was a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gene Minter and sister, Nell Castro. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mrs. Claire Minter of Winnsboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton Ray and Jane Minter of San Angelo, Richard Wayne and Shirley Minter of Sugarland, Edward Terry and Sandy Minter of Clearwater, FL and Cary and Karen Hunter of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Margret Anne Minter of Dallas, Karen and Michel Courreges of Houston and Kay and Andy Cates of Houston; brother, Jimmy Minter of Woodville; sister, Lois Dews of Garrison; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
