Alexander Grant Mowat

Alexander "Grant" Mowat, III. passed away, Sunday, March 30, 2008. He was born in Dallas on February 23, 1942 to Alexander Jr. and Lilly Davis Mowat. He was a dairyman for 40 years, and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pickton. He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Mowat, Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Billie Mowat Vaughan and James Vaughan; and twin grandsons. He is survived by his mother, Lilly Davis Mowat of Pickton; his wife, Pamela Joyce Cate Mowat of Winnsboro; one son, Alexander Grant Mowat, IV and wife Francis of Pickton; one daughter, Leslie Jo Mowat of Pickton; one brother, Robert Davis Mowat and wife Brenda of Pickton; one sister, Jacque Mowat Raney and husband Max of Rockwall; three grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Mowat of Pickton, Alexander Mowat, V., and wife Felisha Watkins Mowat of Pickton, and Jo Dylan Mowat of Pickton.
