Allan Gene Whipple

Allan Gene Whipple, 76, of Yantis, TX died on May 6, 2014 in Tyler, TX. He was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1937 in Eureka, KS to the late Kenneth and Leona Whipple. He was a member of the Autumn Trails Model “A” Club and Land’s End Golf Course.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Dale Whipple.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Collene Whipple; two sons, Mark Whipple and wife Susan of El Dorado, KS, Jason Whipple and Patty of Quitman, TX; daughter, Deidre Lopez and husband Josh of Murchison, TX; brother, Larry Whipple and wife Mary of Eureka, KS; sister, Carol Ann Sears and husband Byron of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Justin Heath, Casey Heath, Zach Whipple, Joey Whipple, Jesse Whipple, Cole Whipple; two great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Bro. David Smith officiating.
