Allen Maurice Clifford at the age of 71 went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2009. he died at his home in Quitman, Texas after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in June 25, 1938, in Bedford, Kentucky. Allen was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Kay Clifford and his grandson, Christopher Earl Fuller. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Susan Clifford of Quitman, TX, his sons James Clifford, Gary Clifford, and David Clifford of Lexington, TX, Steven Hotary and Scott Hotary of North Little Rock, AR; his daughters Renee Hotary of Quitman, TX Denise Curtis of Maumelle, AR, Sandra Lay of Lexington, TX and Shannon Pilawski of Tampa, FL. He leaves 26 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, one sister Joann Jackson of Brooks, KY, his mother-in-law, Anne Miranda of Vilonia, AR, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Tom Hankins of Quitman, TX and Sandra and Butch Linder of Vilonia, AR. Also his aunt and uncle Hazel and Alvie Penix of Louisville, KY, his aunt, June Bevins of Evansville, IN, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Allen was a 32nd degree mason and member of the Scottish Rite of Little Rock, AR, and Eastern Star member of Jewell Chapter OES in Levy, AR. Allen was loving, cheerful and onery.
