Frank Lookadoo

Frank Lookadoo was born February 7, 1942 in Wellington, Texas to Frank H. Lookadoo a cowboy from Oklahoma and Choctaw maiden named Jewell Estella Lowe.

Frank graduated from Phillips High school in Phillips, Texas in 1960 and graduated from West Texas State University with a degree in Marketing and Finance in 1964. He started his career as a salesman in Dallas.

In 1966 Frank received a famous letter from Uncle Sam that said, “Greetings from your friends and neighbors.” For the next two years he was employed by the U.S. Army.

After being discharged from the Army in 1968, he was employed by Wilson & Co. as a salesman in El Paso and later as sales manager over 21 sales territories in East Texas. He then became a supervisor in a factory owed by G.E. During this time, he always had a sideline business and at various times owned a farm store, a farm, bought and sold horses and raised and sold goats.

The last 15 years of corporate life, he was a marketing manager for Trane and American Standard Air Conditioning and created sales programs for the 52 sales offices that covered the U.S. and Canada. He retired in October 2001.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lookadoo, his daughter Michelle Miller and her husband Kent, his son Justin Lookadoo and five grandchildren, Tate, Trent, Aliyeh, Jeremy and Isaiah. He is also survived by his sister Linda Lookadoo, brother in law Bud Gossett and many nieces and nephews.
