Alton Carl Sutton

Mr. Alton C. Sutton, Sr., age 69 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009. He was born in Amarillo on October 10, 1939 to the late Alford and Magnolia Wright Sutton. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a long haul truck driver, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Quitman, and an avid stamp collector since the age of 12. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Helen Stoneking Sutton of Winnsboro; son, Alton Sutton, Jr. and wife Brenda of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters, Teresa Chapman and husband David of Irving, Tina Kunz and husband David of Hemet, California; sisters, Shirley Woodring and Sharon Jennifer Spencer of New Caney; twenty-two grandchildren, and 2 greatgrandsons.
