Alvah Haneline

Alvah Haneline, Jr., age 76, died Friday, February 1, 2013 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, August 26, 1936 in Metropolis, Illinois to the late Alvah and Orpha Haneline, Sr. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a retired Engineer. He was a member of the Mineola Country Club, the Men’s Golf Association and a volunteer at Grace Community Health Care Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Haneline of Mineola, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Speer and husband Ron of Flint, Texas; and one grandchild, Zachary Speer.

Visitation for Mr. Haneline will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1 – 2 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred Morrow officiating.
