Alvin Moss

Mr. Alvin Moss, age 72, of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010. He was born in Omaha, Texas on July 30, 1937 to the late Charlie and Bessie Page Moss. He was a retired insurance agent, and a member of the Church of Christ Faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Merlene Moss; son, Darrell Moss; step-brother, Bobby Brown. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Moss of Winnsboro; sons, Alan Moss and wife Darla of Winnsboro, Billy Moss and wife Ann of Colleyville; daughter, Shelly Holmes and husband Phillip of Van Alstyne; brothers, Calvin Moss and Larry Brown of Como; sisters, Janie Beth Cavanaugh and husband Eddie of Como, Paula Stinson and husband Mickey of Quitman, Virginia Preheim and husband Peter of Allen; half-brother, Donny Brown of Seagoville; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
