Amanda Ruth Starkey

Amanda Ruth Starkey, age 91, died Monday, October 18, 2010 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Friday, September 5, 1919 in Falfurrias, Texas to the late Sim and Ola Dickerson. She lived in Mineola, Texas most of her life where she was a housewife and a seamstress. She attended First Baptist Church in Mineola.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Harold Starkey, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by a son; Doug Starkey of Mineola, a sister; Laverne Ledbetter of Mineola, a grandson; Steve Starkey and two granddaughters; Sydney and Reagan Starkey.
