We are deeply heartbroken of the passing of Angela Taylor, known as Angie, Gmaw and Squeaky. Angie of Hughes Springs passed away November 4, 2025 with her loving husband by her side, John Taylor. Angie was 52 years old and was born in Shelby County, Tennessee. She touched the lives of many from her kids and grand babies to even a stranger on the street.
Angie spent many years employed and always dedicated and gave her best at the jobs she held, and sometimes that was multiple job. Outside of work she always managed to spend time with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world and she made sure they knew that. She enjoyed riding backpack on John's Harley, camping, burning a fire, and listening to good music.
Angie is survived by her husband, John Taylor; of Hughes Springs, Tx. Her mother, Carolyn Favors; of Winnsboro, Tx. Son Marcus Wetzel and wife Whitney; of Hawkins, Tx. Son Austin Wetzel and wife Taylore; of Winnsboro, Tx and Son Case Ellison; of Hughes Springs, Tx.; and her 6 grandchildren; Brother Jo Bob Bennett and wife Shana; of Celesta, Tx; sister, Casey Plunk; of Winnsboro, Tx, and aunt Jo Ann Bennett; of Winnsboro, Tx.
She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate Angie's life will take place on November 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at 816 W Broadway St, Winnsboro, TX 75494. Angie will be cremated, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
