Ann Dennis

Mrs. Ann Dennis passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the age of 83. She was born on February 12, 1923 in Howard County, TX to the late Louie and Bessie Reynolds Matthies. Mrs. Dennis married Mr. Truman Dennis on November 2, 1941 and they moved to Winnsboro in January of 1973. Mrs. Dennis worked for the Winnsboro Hospital for several years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bert Matthies and her only son, David Paul Dennis on October 15, 2004. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Mr. Truman Dennis of Winnsboro; brother, Herschell Matthies of Mesquite; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
