Anna Louise Morscheck

Mrs. Anna Louise Morscheck, age 98 of Mineola, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 in Mineola. She was born on December 14, 1923 in Wood County, TX to the late Holland Shirey and Edith Vandiver Shirey.

Anna was a retired secretary for the federal government and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Mineola. She enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Morscheck in 1971 and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, Henry Morscheck and his wife, Sandi of Richardson; daughter, Jean Marie Derum and her husband, Allan of Plano along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church in Mineola. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pamela Dountas conducting. Interment will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the First Unites Methodist Church in Mineola.
