Anna Roberta Newman

Anna Roberta Newman, 79, of Mineola, TX died on Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Mineola. She was born on Saturday, September 6, 1934 in Mineola, TX to the late Austin and Mozelle Stanford.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Newman; one son, and one sister.

She is survived by her son; Lanny Sasser and wife Kelly of Kingwood, TX; step-son, Ricky Newman of Mineola, TX; brother, Ronnie Stanford and wife Linda of Canton, TX; sisters, Norma Self of Waldron, AR, Margaret Keeling of Spring, TX, Becky Kelley and husband Wayne of Grand Saline, TX, Jo Nell Williams and husband Ronald of Forney, TX; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6-8 PM. Graveside service will be held at Turner Cemetery on Thursday February 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating.
