Anna Vollmering Sims

Anna Sims, age 79, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Thursday, July 14, 1932 in Hebbronville, Texas to the late Fritz and Edna Vollmering. She was a homemaker for 57 years and attended Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirla Lester.

She is survived by her husband, Smith Le Grand Sims; two sons, Daryl Sims of Houston, Texas and Dean Sims of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a daughter, Lauren Norville of Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers and two sisters.
