Anne Maria Jaskula, 71, passed away peacefully at her home on March 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 18, 1953, to Fred D. and Martha F. Stroop, Anne was known for her warm heart, love of conversation, and unwavering dedication to those around her.
Anne found joy in life's simple pleasures, crocheting beautiful creations, exploring new places through her travels, and giving back to her community through her volunteer work at the local food pantry. She had a gift for making people feel heard and loved, always ready to lend an ear or share a story.
Anne was a devoted step-mother, sister, and grandmother, cherishing every moment with her family. She is survived by her step-sons, Rick Jaskula and his wife Annie, and Robert Jaskula and his wife Wendi; her step-daughter, Kelly Smith; her sister (by choice), Becky Ashwood and husband Lanny; and her beloved grandchildren, Ashley Jaskula, Dylan Jaskula, Tyler Jaskula, Ryder Jaskula, Ryan Blackwell, Adam Smith and his wife Tabatha, Gabriel Dimas and his wife Kinsey, Lawrence Jaskula, and Jacob Jaskula; Great-grandchildren Chloe Smith, Camdeen Smith, Chelsea Smith, Carter Dimas, and Hendley Dimas.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Richard D. Jaskula, her parents, Fred and Martha Stroop and sister Laurie Stroop.
Anne’s kindness, laughter, and generosity will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
There will be a celebration of life for Anne on April 6, 2025 at the Pine Forest Community Center at 2:00 p.m. where lunch will be served.
