Hightower, Anthony Gayle

Mr. Anthony Hightower passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on July 17, 2023, at the age of 78 years.

Anthony was born and raised in the Midland, AR area by his parents Marc "Boss" Hightower and Louise McFadden Hightower. He graduated from Arkansas Tech with an engineering degree, and spent most of his career working as a cost estimator for large projects in the oil and construction industries. Mr. Hightower was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Elaine, his son Jonathan (Amanda), and his grandsons, James and Thomas. He is also fondly remembered by his brother Ken Hightower and his sisters, Jean McNamara, Elizabeth Hightower, and Cassandra Douglas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Perry, David, and Michael Hightower, and his sisters Patricia Evans, Carol Rogers, and Mary Ellen Britt.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home. 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. David Taylor and Rev. Ryan Burchett conducting. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland Arkansas the following week.
