Arthur H. Wright, age 72, of Mineola, Texas, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Quitman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Edith Wright; two sisters, Hazel Shapley, Doris Perry; three brothers, William Wright, Charles Wright, and David Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie Wright; three daughters, Peggy Sue Crowe of New York, Sherry Terry of Ft. Worth, Lorraine Ray of Hallsville; four sons, Gerald Wright of New York, Kenneth Wright of New York, Roland Caston of Plano, Donald Edwards of Magnolia; one sister, Edna Perry of Wolf City.Twenty five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Beaty Funeral Home, P.O. Box 209, Mineola, Texas, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2008. Services will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2008, Rev. Wayne Branscum officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Hainesville. Pallbearers will be Joshua Phillips, Dale Caston, Jesse Caston, Jason Caston, David Castleberry, and Will Burgin.
