Mr. Aubrey D. "A.D." Keith passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the age of 95. He was born on August 8, 1914 to the late Grover C. Keith and Cumi Saunders Keith. Mr. Keith married the former Ella Marie Harwood on September 4, 1938 in Hugo, OK. During WWII the couple both worked to relieve the war effort in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Keith worked in the ship yard building LST boats, and Ella worked in the airplane factory on the Corsair planes. After the war, they moved to Dallas and started their family. A.D. is a retired iron worker and cattle rancher. He moved to Winnsboro from Dallas in 1969 and was a member of the First Baptist Church and a Fifty-five year member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilburn Keith and sister, Neva Merle Crump. Survivors include his wife of seventy-one years, Mrs. Ella Marie Keith of Winnsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Terry Chase of Los Angeles, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Monique Keith of Winnsboro; sister, Alva Lee Jordan of Paris; grandchildren, Allen Keith of Dallas, Mallory Keith of Denton and Matthew Chase of Las Vegas.
