Barbara Ann Burt

Barbara Ann Burt, of Winnsboro, Texas, was born on July 16, 1945 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to William Horace McDonald and Cecile Evelyn (Foster) McDonald. Ms. Burt passed away on November 1, 2021, in a hospice facility in Tyler, Texas. Barbara was a member of Winnsboro Chapter 967 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Central Christian Church. She had primarily worked for doctors in Dallas and previously served as a reserve police officer in Big Spring, Texas. Barbara was also a part of the Overseas Brats that enjoyed many get togethers and trips around the world. She was a Rabid Fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Ms. Burt is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Milton McDonald and sister, Judith Karen Wood. Barbara is survived by her brother, William Horace McDonald, Jr.; aunt, Margaret Rizley; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; special family Yolanda Jimenez, Jeff Owens and his wife, Tatiana. Celebration of Barbara's life will be Wednesday, November 10th in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Kevin Hollowell officiant.
