Barbara Iwona Hammonds

Services for Barbara Iwana Hammonds 80, of Hawkins, will be held Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 2 P.M. , at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins, TX. with Reverend, Dean Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.

Barbara was born November 8, 1931 in Redland, Texas; she passed away Sunday June 10, 2012 in Gladewater, Texas. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Floyd Taylor Hammonds Sr. of Hawkins, sons, Floyd Taylor Hammonds Jr. and wife Vicki Hammonds of Hawkins ; Richard Hammonds of Hawkins; Carl Hammonds and wife Tannja Hammonds of Hawkins; Eddie Hammonds and significant other Vicky of Big Sandy; daughters, Diane Garner and husband Van Garner of Hawkins; Nona Cook and husband Daryl of Hawkins; one brother Bernard Hall of Hawkins, and one sister Azilee Davis of Red Springs, 12- grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Hall and Monnie Hall, one sister, Aline Cummings.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers Are: Eddie Hammonds, Daryl Cook, Cameron Cook, Van Garner and CJ Hammonds with Honorary Pallbearers, Casey Garner and Bobby Dale Williams
