Barbara Ann Lawson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Lawson, who departed this life on August 15, 2026, at the age of 92. Barbara was born on May 16, 1934, in Pickton, Texas. She spent her life in service as an Office Manager at General Tire and was a dedicated member of the Pickton Methodist Church.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughters, Susie Baker and her husband, Dan, Lisa Lawson, and Melinda Perkins and her husband, Benny; son, Randy Lawson. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her three grandchildren, Haley, Kyle, and Christina, and derived immense joy from the lives of her eight great-grandchildren: Kaylan, Jacob, Jolee, Nathan, Selah, Evelyn, Ben, and Micah.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Frank Lawson; parents, Earnest Neighbors and Erma Neighbors; and sister, Dorothy Holcomb

A graveside service in honor of Barbara's life will be held at New Pickton Cemetery on August 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather as we celebrate her legacy of love, faith, and creativity, particularly her passions for painting and sewing.

Barbara Ann Lawson will be remembered for her kind spirit and devotion to her family and community. May she rest in peace.
