Barbara Azzalee Points

Barbara Azzalee (Reynolds) Points, of Tyler, was born on March 11, 1936, in Gorman, Texas, to the late George K Reynolds and Della Azzalee (Gann) Reynolds. Mrs. Points walked into her eternal home on April 13, 2023. She retired from Vought Federal Credit Union as an internal auditor. Barbara also worked many years at Grand Prairie State Bank. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Points in September 2021. Together they traveled many years and miles with several different Southern Gospel quartets. She and John were members of Bascom Methodist Church of Tyler. Barbara was an avid reader and excellent artist and writer. She is survived by daughter Caye Sullivan and husband Stephen of Tyler; grandchildren Cyndi Tarlton and husband Derek of Shepherdstown, WV.; Michael Sullivan and wife Kara of Lindale, and Stephen Sullivan and wife Jessica of Tyler; great-grandchildren Nigel Tarlton, Gavin Tarlton, Arabella Tarlton, Paisley Sullivan, Jameson John Sullivan, Eastyn Sullivan, and Daxtyn Sullivan; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20th at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
