Barbara June Strain

Mrs. Barbara June Strain of Pine Mills, Texas passed away March 5, 2007 at the age of 71. She was born July 5, 1935 to the late Ralph Edward Nichols and Ruby Olive (Baxter) Nichols in Dallas, Texas. She had lived in Pine Mills for the past 31 years. She was a Foster Parent for 18 years. She is preceded in death by daughter, Betty Darlene Mathis, grandson, Bryan Posey, son-in-law, Connie Rice, and brother, Ralph Edward Nichols, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mr. Wayne Strain of Pine Mills; two daughters, Beverly Rice of Hawkins, Texas and Kimberley Posey of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Verna Kraft of Emory , Texas and Darlene Warneck of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Michael Posey, Michelle Center, Kimberly Mathis, and Nicky Rice; and one great granddaughter, Madison Tucker.
