Barbara Rochelle Trent

A farewell services for Barbara Trent, Mineola, Texas, are scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday March 27th, 2024 at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S State Hwy 37 Mineola, Tx. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Barbara passed peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Mineola. She was born May 20, 1939 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to Frank and Vean Wamsley. She married Frank Trent in 1957, having met in Germany where she was a military dependent and he was in the Army. She was a true Christian Proverbs 31 woman, serving her family and God in everything she did. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She dutifully followed her husband over much of the world as he sought his place in life as a soldier, airline pilot, home builder and minister. She moved fifty times in 66 years of marriage, making lifelong friends in several states and countries. She counseled and ministered to countless hurting women across America. The world is better off because of her and she will be missed forever.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her son Frank Trent Jr.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Frank, daughter Monica McDonald and her husband David of Grand Saline, granddaughter Ryanne Kindle and husband Chase, step children Frank and Susan Trent and Sharon Sherman, two great grandchildren Thatcher and Sawyer Kindle all of Mineola. Her sisters and other relatives of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

Pallbearers are Chase Kindle, Thatcher Kindle, Patrick Spofford and Ethan Pierce.

Honorary pallbearers are David McDonald and Franklin W. Trent.
