Barbara Ann Vancleave

Barbara Ann VanCleave, age 75, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2011 in Hawkins, Texas. She was born on Monday, May 18, 1936 in Merkel, Texas to the late T. B. and Dorothy Hobbs.

She is survived by a son, Glen VanCleave and wife Stacy of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas; a daughter, Lorrie Franklin of Hawkins; a sister, Louella Furgeson of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren, Prernecia McBride and husband Aston, Jennifer VanCleave, Rendie VanCleave and Ethan VanCleave; and two great-grandchildren, Bryce McBride and Kegan McBride.

A memorial service for Ms. VanCleave will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charles Long officiating.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of East Texas or The American Cancer Society.
