Mrs. Mae Beatrice "Bee" Tate, age 97 of Winnsboro, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Winnsboro. Bee was born on July 31, 1917 in Cordell, Oklahoma to the late C.L. and Stella Bennett Ferguson. She worked as secretary to the president of the National Quarterhorse Association before retirement; she was formerly a member of the Wichita Falls Garden Club, and attended the First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bernard Baxter, second husband, Lem Tate; sister, Maxine Ferguson; and brother, J.D. Ferguson. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Campbell and husband Huh of Wimberley, Judy Roberts and husband Tom of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Brian Burrer, Rebecca Burrer, Bradley Burrer, Trinnell Scott, Melissa Burrer, Wendy McIntyre; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
