Beatrice S. Yanez peacefully passed away on May 22, 2024 in Winnsboro, TX at the age of 98 surrounded by the love of her family. Beatrice embodied the best of qualities: resolute faith, unconditional love, strength of spirit, and unending generosity. Born in El Paso, Beatrice was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. After graduating from Bowie High School in 1943, Beatrice worked in various occupations including the El Paso Police Department, Wheatfield Transportation, and ultimately retired from the Small Business Administration. She moved to Winnsboro in 2002 to be close to family living there. She is deeply missed until we see each other in Heaven.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Manuel Yanez, parents Antonio F. Stewart and Carmen Martinez, brothers Antonio Stewart and Fito Stewart, sisters Carmen Lopez and Julieta Maldonado, and other beloved family members and friends. She is survived by daughter Norma Yanez, sons David Yanez and Daniel Yanez and wife Anne, grandchildren Tracy, Leeane, Elle, Kristopher and Julie, as well as great-grandchildren Rylee, Levi, Paisley, Lenny, Christian and Madison.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass El Paso, TX from 11 AM - 1 PM followed by burial at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
