Ben Hardin Board, age 84, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born on Thursday, December 16, 1926 in Edgewood, Texas. He attended First United Methodist Church in Mineola, Texas and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Board; and a brother, Joe Don Board.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Board of Pittsburg; a son, Mack Board also of Pittsburg; two daughters, Susie Woods of Sherman, Texas; and Kathie Stascavage of Long Beach, Virginia; and a sister in law, Polly Howard of Hilltop Lake, Texas.

Visitation for Mr. Board will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mineola on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Fred Morrow officiating.
