Bennie Ray Waldrop

Mr. Bennie "Cody" Waldrop, age 73 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was born in Wood County on December 15, 1935 to the late B.P. Waldrop, Jr. and Beatrice Mills. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a baptist. He was preceded in death by his brother, G.B. Waldrop. He is survived one sister, Mary Jo Meyer and husband Donald of Winnsboro; four aunts, Judy Green, Virginia Hawkins, Louise Frazier, Pete Cox; one niece, Patsy Rhoades; two nephews, Wilson and James Waldrop; two great-nieces, Brooklyn and Cadence Waldrop; two great-nephews, James Waldrop and Waylon Tarkenton. The family requests that no flowers be sent, instead make donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
