Bernard James Adams

Mr. Adams died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Quitman. He was born September 29, 1932 in Madison, Indiana to the late Ray and Katherine Hall Adams. He is a retired Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy. Mr. Adams lived in Wood County for five years after moving from Branson, Missouri. He was a Baptist and a life member of the VFW in Mineola. He is preceded in death by his loving parents and wife, Wanda Adams; and one brother, Raymond Donald Adams. Survivors include, one son, Bernie Ray Adams and wife Cindy of Mineola; one daughter, Linda Carol Adams and husband Bobby of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two sisters, Priscilla Adams and Janet Greenwood, both of Trimble County, Kentucky; grandchildren, Scott, Stephanie, Michael, Chris, Nick, and Jeana Adams, Gina and Rickie Phelps; and six great grandchildren.
