Bernice Rowena Stokley

Mrs. Bernice Rowena Stokley, age 76 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born in Rusk County on October 11, 1934 to the late Benjamin F., Sr. and Anna Piland Mathis. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Benjamin F. Mathis, Jr., and two infant sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ken Stokley of Winnsboro; son, Kenneth Stokley and wife Martha of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Anita Gustafson and husband John of Aledo; brother, Gary Lee Mathis and wife Shirley of Henderson; sister-in-law, Margaret King and husband Robert of Winnsboro; and three grandchildren, Sam, Grant, and Kyle.
