Beryl W. Foster

Mr. Beryl W. Foster, age 89 of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Winnsboro. He was born on August 9, 1920 in Ranger, Texas to the late Pete and Jessie Stewart Foster. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps, retired from the Getty Oil Co. after 34 years, and a longtime member of Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Eva Bryan Foster, and two brothers. He is survived by son, Mike Foster and wife Sally of Hawkins; daughter, Susie Davis and husband Ernie of Carthage; sister, Glenda Taylor of Palestine; second wife, Exel Foster of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
