Bessie Baker

Bessie Pearl Greer Baker, age 96, of Garland, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born in Como, Texas on January 25, 1923 to the late Karl & Jennie Greer. She was a retired salesclerk (1986) for C.R. Anthony Co. in Seminole, Texas and a member of First Baptist Church in Rowlett, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Baker in 2010, and siblings, Eurie Greer, Iva Mae Greer Cobbs, Cleo Greer, Kyle “Pete” Greer and Fred Greer. She is survived by her son, Ronny Baker and wife, Linda of Garland; daughter, JoAnn Yocom and husband, Larry of Hawkins; three grandchildren, Shanny Cox and husband, Shannon, Scott Baker and wife, Elizabeth, Lori Sievert and husband, Kevin and seven beautiful great grandchildren, Colin and wife, Alyssa, Jason, Emily, Allison, Hailey, Chad and Connor. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 with a Graveside Service to follow at Lee Cemetery Highway 37 S. Winnsboro, TX 75494 with Dr. Steven Leatherwood conducting.
