Betty Finley

On June 16, 2022, Betty McCormack Finley, age 80, was welcomed into her heavenly home. She was born on June 9, 1942 in Grand Saline, Texas to the late Henry Lawerence McCormack and Beulah Young McCormack. Betty married her husband of 56 years, Tom Finley, on June 11, 1966. They had two children, raising their family in Grand Prairie Texas before retiring to Mineola in 1997.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother James McCormack. She is survived by sister Faye Griffin, brother Jimmy McCormack, many nieces and nephews. Betty leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years, Thomas Burton Finely of Mineola, Texas, son Stephen Finley and his wife Jaime of Mineola, daughter Leslie Bloodworth and husband Daniel. The “sunshine” of her life were her eight beloved grandchildren, Evan Finely and wife Hannah, Ashley Foster and husband Devon, Alyssa Finley, Aaron Bloodworth, Devon Bloodworth, Madison Bloodworth , Gracie Finley, Cooper Finley and two great-grandchildren Gruner Finley and Arrow Finley.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 6 - 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola TX. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the First United Methodist Ministry Center, Mineola TX.
