Betty Jo Grady

Betty Jo Martin Grady, 86, went home to her Lord May 28, 2026. She was born to Fannie Swann Martin and William Oscar Martin on April 14, 1940 in Wood County, Texas.

Betty attended Winnsboro High School and received her Associate's Degree from Richland Junior College. She worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years.

Betty's smile and love of others will be missed by the friends that she made throughout the years. During her time in care facilities, Betty enjoyed playing games, going to Bible study and meeting new friends.

Betty was blessed to have Dana, her hospice aide, over the past few months. They developed a special friendship. We especially want to thank Dana for the care and friendship that she gave Betty.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie and Oscar. She is survived by longtime friends, Reba Whitworth Newton of Tyler, Michele Martin of Martins Mill, Harolyn Ezell of Richardson and Pam Brown of Dallas.
