Betty Jean Harrell

Betty J. Harrell, age 75, died Friday, November 2, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Saturday, January 23, 1937 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Clarence and Eunice Pace. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hawkins, Texas and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW post in Mineola.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Dorelle Mackey, Louise Baird and Alice Smith; and a brother, Joe Pace.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Wayne Harrell of Mineola, Texas; a son Kenneth Certain and wife Edith of Marshall, Texas; three daughters, Deborah Tate of Mineola, Carolyn Dawson and husband Danny of Mineola and Melissa Wells of Mineola; a brother, Roger Pace and wife Sharon of Hawkins; a sister Yvonne Winters of Hawkins; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Mrs. Harrell will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
