Services for Betty J Breeze Plunk of Stafford, Texas are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday June 15th 2022 at the Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas with Curtis J. Holden officiating.
Burial will be at the Providence Cemetery laying her to rest beside her husband Franklin R. Plunk
Betty Jean Breeze was born June 9, 1935 in Sampsel, Missouri to James Munroe Breeze and Naomi Virginia Arnote Breeze.
Betty died Thursday morning, June 9th in Sugar Land Methodist hospital on her 87th Birthday. She attended school in Breckenridge, Missouri, graduating in 1953.
Betty married Franklin Roosevelt Plunk on April 23, 1957 and was his constant companion until his death on September 23rd 1994.
Survivors include: daughter, Debra Jean Ryan Rhodes and husband John Kelvin Rhodes; son. James Franklin Plunk; grandson, Brandon Robert Coombs and wife Helen Sharee Coombs; greatgrandchildren, Braydon James Coombs age 8 and Mickayla Jean Coombs age 4; granddog, Dallas Chewbacca Rhodes; sister-in-laws Cheryl Haze and Eulonda Breeze; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Betty's family also wish to acknowledge treasured friends Laura Brockelman and Mickey Leakis
Betty was proceeded in death by her parents; husband; siblings Larry Breeze, Donald Breeze, Wayne Breeze and wife Gracie Breeze, and Junior Breeze and wife Mary.
Betty was a devoted mother and wife, showing the Love of Christ to her family, friends and all those she knew. She was a diligent student of the Bible. Betty enjoyed doing macrame, reading and puzzle books in her free time. She was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ.
