Betty Lee Ulics

Mrs. Betty Lee Ulics, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Tyler. Betty was born in Quincy, Illinois on September 29, 1926 to the late Charles and Grace Fielding Hipkins. She was a homemaker, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Winnsboro. She was also very involved in the Solano County California 4-H Youth Development Program, before retiring to Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,Dr. Joseph S. Ulics; three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by a son, Joe Ulics and wife Karla of Hamburg, Ca.; two daughters, Leeann Moos and husband Jonathan of Winnsboro, TX.; Stephanie Olmstead and husband Mark of Kent, WA.; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Rachel Moos. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Winnsboro, a reception to follow, and all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church: Grandmas Playground Fund.
