Betty Vinson

Betty Billings Vinson, age 79 of Mineola, passed away on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 in Mineola. She was born on December 14th, 1939 in Dallas to the late Walstein Billings and Lillian Womack Billings. She was a graduate of North Dallas High School and Draughon's Business College in Dallas and was a retired federal employee with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She was a lifelong member of the Christian church and was a current member of First Christian Church of Mineola. She loved her church and volunteered at various positions including serving as Elder and Deacon. Betty was preceded in death by parents and brother, Stephen Michael Billings. She is survived by her sister, Marijean Endrizzi and her husband Mike of Mineola; three nieces, Cheryl Kress of Peoria, Arizona, Leslie Benware of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Dana Reynolds of Quitman, Texas and one nephew, Brian Billings of Anna, Texas and several great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24nth 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773 at 10 am , Rev. Rick Son conducting.
